When & Where:
We send orders on a weekly schedule anywhere in the Nelson region and to any non-rural address elsewhere in New Zealand (you can check your address here). Many of our Golden Bay and Nelson orders are delivered in person on our Tuesday or Wednesday delivery run, and we send further afield by courier a couple of times per week. Add a note to your order if you have preferences for possible delivery days. If you’re in Golden Bay you can choose to pickup at the Saturday market to avoid shipping costs.
Some cuts may not be able to be sent by courier if they’re frozen but we’ll contact you if that’s the case.
Packing:
We pack our orders for delivery in cartons with natural wool insulation and ice packs. In the courier boxes with ice packs the meat stays nicely chilled for up to 2 days, long enough for it to get from our fridge to yours.
For Golden Bay and Nelson customers, the ice packs and wool insulation can be recycled back to us so we can use them again (if they’re clean) – we can collect them when we deliver your order in person. If your order comes by courier, you can save them up until we next do an in-person delivery.
