When & Where
We send orders on a weekly schedule anywhere in the Nelson region and to any non-rural address elsewhere in New Zealand (you can check your address here). Many of our Golden Bay and Nelson orders are delivered in person on our Wednesday delivery run, and we send further afield by courier a couple of times per week. Add a note to your order if you have preferences for possible delivery days.
Some cuts may not be able to be sent by courier if they’re frozen but we’ll contact you if that’s the case.
Order online before Tuesday afternoon so we can pack your order ready for delivery on Wednesday.
We also bring orders to the Village Market in Takaka on Saturday mornings where you can pickup for free. Please order before Friday mid-day so that we can get them packed and ready.
Packing
We pack our orders for delivery in cartons with natural wool insulation and ice packs. In the courier boxes with ice packs the meat stays nicely chilled for up to 2 days, long enough for it to get from our fridge to yours.
For Golden Bay and Nelson customers, the ice packs and wool insulation can be recycled back to us so we can use them again (if they’re clean) – we can collect them when we deliver your order in person. If your order comes by courier, you can save them up until we next do an in-person delivery.
Stay in Touch
To find out more about our farm and our meat, and to be notified when there is fresh meat available on the web shop, please sign up for our newsletter. We send emails out about once a week with news about happenings on the farm and updates on what meat and produce is available.
